At Caring Companions, end-of-life care is delivered with sensitivity, professionalism, and respect, working alongside health professionals to ensure support is appropriate and responsive.

Care Centred on Comfort and Dignity

End-of-life care is not about medical intervention alone. It is about comfort, reassurance, and preserving dignity.

Our carers focus on supporting physical comfort, emotional wellbeing, and a calm environment. Care is delivered gently and respectfully, always guided by the individual’s wishes and care plan.

Working Alongside Healthcare Professionals

End-of-life care at home often involves coordination with other professionals. Where appropriate, we work alongside local district nurses, community health teams, and palliative care specialists from the Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.

This ensures continuity, clarity, and reassurance for families.

Respecting Wishes and Choices

Respect for personal wishes is central to end-of-life care. We listen carefully to individuals and families and work in line with agreed plans and preferences.

Care is delivered in a way that honours values, beliefs, and choices.

Caring Companions is fully regulated by Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW).
